Teaching

Pier’s teaching has included Statistical Machine Learning in the Department of Statistics from 2018–2020 and in the Big Data Institute’s EPSRC CDT in Health Data Science from 2019–2023 (websites for HT2018, HT2019, BDI2019, HT2020, BDI2020, BDI2021, BDI2022).

Pier has also taught at the Oxford Machine Learning Summer School in 2020, the Oxford Statistical Genomics Summer School in 2022 and 2023, and the SMARTbiomed Aarhus summer school (online) in 2026.

Pier is also a tutorial fellow in maths at Corpus, teaching first and second year tutorials in probability, statistics, and linear algebra. Course materials can be found on the website of the Maths Institute.
